August 2018 - Showing Ticino in Danza in collaboration with Ticino Musica @Museo Vincenzo Vela, Stabio

The course of Instant Composition for Ticino in Danza 2018 and the Master Class in musical composition lead by Oscar Bianchi for Ticino Musica come together for a showing at the Museo Vincenzo Vela. The Neue Vokalsolisten Stuttgart plays music composed by the students of Ticino Musica. The dancers respond to it.

Con Tracce #2 prosegue la ricerca del movimento di danza al di fuori dello spazio scenico. Centro tematico della performance è la migrazione. Il Ticino nei secoli scorsi è stato una terra da cui i più poveri e i meno socialmente inseriti erano costretti  a partire. Se queste mura circondate dalla natura potessero parlare, cosa ci racconterebbero? Probabilmente storie di quotidianità di chi rimaneva e di chi andava a cercar fortuna. Chi partiva era inghiottito dal nulla. Con gli adeguati riti propiziatori, se ci soffermiamo ad ascoltare queste mura mormamorano i loro segreti. E oggi? Anche oggi si parte, ma non si va via.
